Being a male I realize my shape may differ from a female’s but with the help you gave via a email the waist chincher fits perfectly. I have had the occasion to wear the shaper four times. Lovely and functional. My waist is 32-33" and I went with the US 12 and I'd say it adds the right amount of cinch and it is not uncomfortable at all. Aesthetically, it's simple but pretty and pairs with other items in my collection.

I have a few different cinchers and this is by far my favorite--the most comfortable for my short self. The others I have go down over my hips and end up digging into my skin or rolling up, but this one is great for shorter girls like I (sez Marilyn!). I love the beautiful color and fabric, too, and it's less restricting than the latex ones I have. I have it in two colors depending on whether I'm prioritizing comfort or the smallest possible waist.

I love "What Katie Did" as a brand. The quality is always spot on, and I've never had any problems. The sizing was a little confusing, but also four months postpartum my brain is a little fried. 😅 The first one I ordered was too big, but I was easily able to exchange it! My waist is between 28 and 29 inches so I sized down to 12 and I did not expect the waspie to do such a great job at nipping the waist. I am quite squishable so it might be biased, but it creates the perfect dramatic but balanced hourglass by reducing the waist, in my case, from about 1,5 to 2 inches and flattens slightly the tummy.
It is also very comfortable, as you don’t feel the top or bottom elastics, it is so far my best WKD purchase and I highly recommend it for beginners who want the hourglass shape without the corsetry.

I love my garment from WKD, it's beautifully made and looks great under my vintage style dresses! Fits true to size, and is a good introduction to shape wear. As an actor I've worn many different kinds of quite restrictive costume corsets, but this little waspie is great for everyday wear, gives a perfectly defined waist without discomfort.
This review is really about their 5* customer service, who were prompt, courteous and efficient when I contacted them about a delay in shipping (Royal Mail's issue, not WKD), and proposed a speedy solution to my issue. I look forward to the opportunity to shop with them again!

Very nice cincher, gave my straight figure an hourglass shape. It's also the perfect length since my ribs and hips are very close to each other. I think I do have to size up one. Waiting for BLACK/UK 12/US 8 to come back in stock!

I am a hobby actor and having a flat tummy is really important especially for the parts I play! I measured my waist in inches and the size I got was just perfect! It does more for me than my Spanx body suit, but the ribbing will show through the fabric in newer "form fitting" clothes.
But it doesn't show under my vintage inspired clothes.
