There are a number of Merry Widow knockoffs that I have seen on line, and perhaps they appear to be a good value.

Don't be deceived, this IS the real thing. Quality materials, authentic design, precision stitching. It is a joy to wear, and a joy to just show off a little.

I am working my way into historical costuming and was excited to buy this merry widow. However after just a few try-ons during my fittings and a short day in this piece, I noticed the fabric unraveling in one of the front panels. I hope this is a defect because I was hoping that this could be a piece that could be in my collection for years to come. Please let me know if there is a way that we can rectify this.

I’ve worn corsets under Victorian attire for historical events before—there’s a big gap between shapewear made for ‘show’ vs shapewear intended for actual USE. High quality construction, surprisingly good fit from the vintage style…Maybe more comfortable than my usual ‘daily wear’ lingerie. Even bought the corresponding lingerie to complete the set—great seller and lovely items that were carefully packaged and arrived promptly—thank you!

I have worn it to a wedding and it was a feat of engineering. I wear a 32/34 G in Ewa Michalak bras, so I have a smaller ribcage and lots of projection. 36 DD fit my cup size, keeping them in the cup but allowing a lot of jiggle. I'm 5'8 with a shorter torso and it fit at my waist.

I'm going to look for more strapless and off the shoulder pieces to wear with it.

My only wish is that there was a natural fibre option.

I bought a different WKD piece a long time ago, and I'm too big for it now, but for my own wedding, I bought this garment. I feel like it supports my chest just right and gives a good amount of compression without it being a corset. It's a bit on the pricier side, but for my own wedding, a nice treat! Thanks for a beautiful product!

Fits perfect, really cinches my waist in! I am a 23” waist so that can be tough to find for me. I should note the underwires are rather narrow so definitely size up if you are wider set. I do wish the underwires did not come up so high as they poke me in the armpits a little bit, but I have this problem pretty often as my bust sits rather high on my frame—so most people probably won’t have this issue

I love this beautiful Peach Glamour Nouveau Merry Widow. It is quite firm and robust and gives me a perfect hourglass shape. It is comfortable to wear and the boning allows me to bend easily. I have matching Harlow knickers and the French knickers which both look great.

I wasn’t sure if my size and it was made easy won’t messages and also I went to be measured. It was so kind to fit me in before Christmas and I am over the moon with my Merry Widow in black. It’s so elegant and sophisticated. The craftsmanship and attention to detail are splendid, I feel a million dollars wearong it! ❤️

All I can say is WOW. I have long been on the search for a corset that cinches my waist, flattens the belly AND supports a heavier chest (36dd). My regular bra size is a 36DD and I am a US dress size 6/8 and the WKD 36DD fit me well and true to size. Love it!!

It gives you a very good and feminine shape, but the whalebones under the breast and under the armpit ,are very painful and uncomfortable.

Absolutely stunning and comfortable Merry Widow. Using the size guide to order the correct size I was wary at first but she fits like a glove! A must have item for vintage style dresses. Giving me killer curves every time I wear her!

I have purchased from WKD before and find the cups to be quite smaller in this model, while the waist is bigger. My waist is 27 inches and the 32 suited me perfectly, despite the fitting info recommendation of a 34.

I am here in the US. So It shipped very fast. Unfortunately the one I got had some quality issues. One of the eye closures snapped when I tried it on when I received it. I am actually a intermediate home seamstress so I was able to fix that. Unfortunately there was also tearing of the statin fabric from under the boning on the front (after just trying it on once). I did email them and voice my concerns because this one slipped through the cracks on quality. I am not in a position to return this due to my wedding and time constraints (it is still wearable). That is the only reason why I am giving it 4 stars. Other than that, this really cinches you in and gives a lovely shape. I think I will probably order another one down the road. It's not poorly made - unfortunately I got one that had some quality control issues that got missed before shipment. WKD was willing to exchange it even after I cut the tags off. Customer service seems to be great.

I needed some shapewear after losing my waist to enjoying too many cruises. My husband suggested the Merry Widow and I said I would try it if he treated me! Not disappointed after getting into it my hourglass figure returned.

After a glitch on next day delivery just before New Year for a present for my wife, a quick phone call and product delivered in time for New Year event. My wife was so pleased with Black Merry Widow for use with strapless and spaghetti strap dresses that she then ordered another Merry Widow in Peach.

The corset is so lovely and unbelievably well-made. I love it so much!

Honestly one of the best purchases I’ve ever made. It’s so versatile with its detachable bra straps and suspender clips, and cinches you in like crazy.

It also goes high up on the back (around mid shoulder blade for me - 5”2 and short torso) so you don’t have to worry about dreaded back fat pudge.

Katie was so helpful with sizing, I’d recommend shooting them an email if you’re not too sure what size to get.

This is a beautiful garment. I’m super happy with the fit for my first stab at this kind of thing, I feel secure but there is enough stretch that even though I didn’t perfectly fit the measurements it works for me. I love the versatility of the straps and the suspenders being removable. If it helps anyone, I got a 34C, which is my usual bra size, and I have about a 28” waist, and 40” hip, about 5’8” and 145lb. I was concerned about it being too small, but didn’t want to size up since the bust measurement and waist measurement of the 36B might have been too big. The stretch worked for me! I would be curious if the full body briefer would stretch over my full hip, or if I would need to size up, however.

I immediately had to put it on! It’s really beautiful and very well made. Definitely made me feel slim thiccc with THREE C!
