I got both the stockings and the suspender belt. They are both extremely beautiful and of amazingly high quality. But, unfortunately, the belt came in the wrong size, so it's impossible to use as it keeps sliding down. I still have the tag on it, but returning it seems too costly. Really sad, but I commend the craftsmanship!

I love this garter. It fits perfectly with the wide waste band and the six straps. I wear it regularly and it doesn’t need adjustment during the day. The stockings are hold in place no matter how much I move during the day. Anytime again I would purchase it.

First off, thanks to Charlie for consulting with me and changing my order when I had initially put in the wrong size. For the benefit of any Americans ordering, I have a 29" waist and the UK 12/US 8 fits very well. I tried the garter belt out on a full day of exploring Chicago -- after about six miles of walking, it was still comfy and secure and looked quite nice. My only issue is that I'm experiencing the Diderot effect and now want many more vintage-styled pieces to go with. (Small advisory note for US customers: The Royal Mail seems to make these packages registered by default. BUT the USPS did not give me a digital tracking number or advisory that it was going to require a signature to deliver. I was waiting patiently, then luckily checked up on it and collected it from the post office in the nick of time before it was sent back.)

If you're waffling between styles, go with the Liz. This was my go-to daily belt and I own 4 of them. The new one I purchased had three broken fasteners and would not hold my stockings. What Katie Did was kind enough to send me a replacement. Two of the fasteners had the same problem. It's unwearable. It's possible that it was a defected batch, but I recommend stearing clear. I bought the Liz is white and it's perfect.

We have contacted our factory to change our suspender straps for our Maitresse so this shouldn't be an issue in future.

Our Maitresse narrow/ short suspender belt is the black equivalent of our Harlow suspender belt.
I would recommend sticking to the same size as well.
