Wore this to an event as someone who had put on a lot of weight recently and it was perfect for what I needed, gave me a lovely shape, smoothed lines and snatched me in at the waist.

As a bonus it was very comfortable and supported my lower back making me stand and sit straighter without feeling restrictive. I was worried the ribbing would dig into my thighs sitting down or constrict my breathing and dig in but it sat well on me being firm enough to hold me in and flexible where it might otherwise dig in.

I only wish it was as easy to get on and off like one with a busk opening, but I understand why as it is smoothing at the front and is flexible to sit in.

This is beautifully made and such a lovely colour (I got peach). Soft comfortable material, strong long lacing to fit many body types. No pulling at the seams, boning molds to frame nicely, very comfortable. A bit harder to stealth under tighter thin clothing but easy otherwise. Great back support and very easy to breathe in. Great fit and quality, worth the price.

This Demi Waspie Corset is exquisite and definitely worth adding to your collection. Top to bottom the Maitresse collection is every boys pin-up dreams come to life, the finish on this corset is so beautiful. They could have painted my wife wearing this collection on the nose of a B-24 and kamikaze pilots would have been crashing into each other instead.

Demi Waspie Corset L4099

Context: I was looking for shapewear for regular use under my clothes that emulated what I came to discover is the "waspie" silhouette. After a visit to the Dior museum here in Paris, I really wanted to find shapewear that could give me a similar shape to some of the garments I saw. I have no prior experience with corsets.

The demi waspie corset is really good quality. It feels sturdy and the material is really comfortable! It understood the assignment and snatched the **** out of my waist. It gives me an absolutely stunning silhouette. Getting it on the first time took a good 30minutes, and as a first time corset wearer I had no idea what I was doing. The second time I decided to follow a tutorial and that helped immensely. So I would recommend doing that. The laces are so long and it doesn't seem to be tied in exactly the same way as a traditional corset so it would be really cool if the "What Katie Did" team added a tutorial for how to wear and lace up this particular garment as it's pretty unique.

It's super comfortable, can definitely be worn all day if you wanted to

I've not figured out how to perfectly cover my lines for when I wear it underneath clothing or the best way to tuck all that lacing but I am sure in due time I'll figure it out. If you're thinking about getting it, don't hesitate!

Having bought last year this fabulous all-day shapewear in black, I decided to splash out on peach. So comfortable. So wearable. So delectable. And it really does do the trick with my waist.

I love this piece. I've been wearing it after having my second child. It is surprisingly comfortable to move in. I wear it twice as much as I thought I would! It olds in all my squish and lets me wear my old clothes.

This is the most comfortable corset I have ever worn. It's very light and delicate but still reduces my waist noticeably. It is mentioned in the product description that there is no busk and the laces are longer than usual, so you will need more time to put it on. It does not bother me personally though, and the busk-less front is invisible under lighter clothing. I can't wait to wear this beauty in spring and summer. Thanks, WKD!
