I bought these in size 10 after purchasing the size 12 ones previously and finding them a bit too big. I'm between sizes with my waist being in the size 12 range and my hips are size 10 - it is definitely fine to size down in this style as they run a bit bigger to allow for the lack of stretch in the satin fabric. Unfortunately postage back to UK is expensive so I kept the size 12s in case I gain weight in the future, but couldn't resist coming back to buy a pair that fits me now. The french knickers look gorgeous, they make me feel very glamourous when I wear them, and they are also convenient for wearing over a suspender belt + stockings to keep the suspender clips from showing and create a smooth line under a fitted or A line skirt. My one complaint is that a couple of the buttons were already quite loose when they arrived and so I have reinforced them all to prevent losing one. They do get put under stress as they need to be undone and done back up multiple times a day for visits to the toilet.

I haven't worn these yet but have tried them on and they feel soft and silky. They fit well and the shape is flattering. I am delighted. I intend to wear them with my peach Merry Widow. The only thing perhaps that I would change are the buttons. They are ok but some flatter mother of pearl buttons would work better under clothes but that's just my opinion.

These are so gorgeous but my hips have grown since I got them - if you could consider going up to a 20 (and further to be extra size inclusive, that would be amazing!

I really loved these, they feel like wearing a fluffy cloud. I did size up (more or less following the size-guide though) but they were several inches too big. As I have some basic sewing skills that was no problem; I just fixed them. I will certainly buy more of these in the future, but I will buy my usual size 12.

Very happy with the knickers; they look beautiful and are comfortable wear. I love the button fastenings. The top button isn’t the easiest to close and open but I expect that to get easier over time.

Lovely shape that is great for my pear shape. I did not like the buttons which were white on peach, just looked like a bad match. They were also very difficult to use, not what you need when you need to spend a penny. I replaced them with something that was easy to use and matched the colour. Excellent pre-sale advice about sizing.
