This 1950s green Milkmaid dress has all the right retro details from an elasticated scoop neck and slightly puffed sleeves. Plus, of course, the period correct metal side zip.

Just like true vintage fashion, the bodice and waist of this 1950s inspired dress are cut close to your body for an authentic 1950s look. The skirt is designed to finish below the knee. This is longer than other reproduction vintage fashion brands and essential for a true vintage look.

The print is adapted from a true 1950s design. As we make our clothing in very small batches is unlikely you’ll bump into someone wearing the same design. Even expert vintage fashionistas won’t be able to tell if you’re wearing reproduction or true vintage fashion!

This dress has a metal YKK zip opening on one side and a 29.5” hemline to waist measurement (size UK 12 / US 8). It’s made from 100% cotton with a print exclusive to What Katie Did. Our 1950s green Milkmaid Dress is ethically made in our main factory in India.

Gorgeous repro dress

Loved it raight away when I received, it looks even better than on the listing.
I sized up because waist was said to run small but I could have stuck to my usual size.
The green is a gorgeous shade and the cotton feels nice, it will be perfect for summer.
Also nicely made for repro, I was quite impressed. I would have loved pockets as skirt is full enough but carrying a purse never hurt anyone.
