Shipping Information

We aim to ship orders placed before 1pm (UK time) the same afternoon, Monday to Friday (excluding UK Bank Holidays).

All orders are shipped with tracking, and some deliveries may require a signature on receipt.

We are happy to deliver to a business address if that is more convenient for you.

If your order includes a pre-order item, please note that your order will be dispatched in full once the pre-order item arrives. Pre-order products are always clearly marked on our website, so there won’t be any unexpected delays.

Delivered Pricing

We ship your order from our UK HQ 'DDP' (with the exception of Norway): delivered duty paid. This means no surprise fees or extra tariffs when your order arrives – everything is taken care of by What Katie Did, so the price you see is the 'delivered price'. Simple, transparent, and hassle-free – guaranteed.

UAE

We're currently not shipping to the UAE, as the Fedex service we use has not resumed yet.

Norway

We only ship to Norway by regular mail with taxes and duties excluded due to very expensive Fedex fees. This means for Norway only you will need to pay duties and taxes on receipt..

Specific country info

UK

All orders are shipped from our Pangbourne, Berkshire HQ.

Standard shipping is by Royal Mail 48 which aims to deliver in 48 hours with the exception of postcodes: AB30-35, AB41-45, AB51-53, DD8-10, DG7-9, FK8, FK15-17, PH10-11, PH13-14, PH 17-18, TD15.

Shipping via Fedex to Norther Ireland is ridiculously expensive so we currently only ship to NI by Royal mail.

EU & Europe

EU: Prices for customers within the European Union are higher than in some other regions because they include all applicable taxes and duties. This means there are no unexpected charges to pay when your parcel arrives.

Since the removal of the €150 duty-free threshold, duty is now payable on all orders entering the EU. In addition, a €3 customs charge is applied to each commodity code within a shipment. These charges are included in the prices shown on our website, allowing your order to clear customs without any additional payment being requested on delivery.

Europe: Any import duty will be shown on the checkout page before you make your payment.

Norway

Shipping via Fedex to Norway is prohibitively expensive. Currently we only ship by standard shipping.

Orders under NOK 350 / €35 / Β£30 (including shipping, so basically a pair of our Glamour seamed stockings) should not be charged duty or VAT on receipt.

Orders over this amount shipped to Norway will be charged VAT and import duty on receipt, which is your responsibility to pay.

USA and Canada

Prices for customers in the United States are higher than in some other regions because they include all applicable import duties, including the current 10% surcharge. This means there are no unexpected charges to pay when your parcel arrives.

Rather than asking customers to pay import duties on delivery, we include them in the price shown on our website. Your order is shipped on a Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) basis, allowing it to clear customs before delivery without any additional payment being requested.

Australia and New Zealand

Both Australia and New Zealand have a very high de minimus (import duty threshold) so unless your order is over $900 AUD, or $1000 NZD, hooray, no duties.

If your order is over this amount any duties will be added at check out before you make any payment.

Rest of World

Any duties will be added at check out before you make any payment.

We currently ship to: Hong Kong SAR, Japan, Greenland and United Arab Emirates.

Frequently asked questions

Shipping Times

We’ll always send your order promptly, and most parcels arrive without a hitch.

Very occasionally, international shipments can be delayed in customs, which is unfortunately beyond our control, but this is rare.

Unfortunately this means that shipping times are not guaranteed and we are not liable for any delays.

Should your order be delayed in customs we automatically receive an email and are able to investigate and supply any information required.

Should you be out when an delivery is attempted you will receive an email with more information so please check your spam box if you don't receive it.

PO Boxes

We do not ship to PO Boxes as Fedex require a signature on delivery.

Returns

We offer refunds or returns for items returned within 30 days in as new condition with tags attached. All the info can be found below.

Currency & Exchange Rates

We understand that prices can vary between regions.

The biggest reason for this is that, in most countries, we include import duties and taxes in the price you see on our website.

For example, prices for customers in the US include import duties and the current 10% surcharge, while EU prices include all applicable taxes and duties.

This means there are no unexpected charges to pay when your order arrives.

To a lesser extent, our international pricing also reflects other costs of selling overseas, including currency conversion fees, compliance with local legislation and international shipping costs that are not fully covered by our shipping charges. Exchange rates are set automatically by Shopify, our website provider, and aren't something we're able to adjust.

We work hard to keep these adjustments as small as possible while continuing to offer reliable service worldwide. If you'd prefer to buy locally, please use the button below to see if you have a local stockist.
