Great girdle that does its job and stays in place without rolling up or down, while raising your waist up the where your ribcage starts, accentuating it. I have 37’’ hips but a 28/29’’ waist so I picked size 12, and if you struggle a bit to get into your girdle, it means that it is the right size for you.
While the top band is strong and needs a bit of time getting used to it, the hips are snug but allow great freedom of movement, and the boning, even while sitting down, cannot be felt. However, if you are small like me (5’2’’) the girdle might reach very low, covering the about an inch of the higher portion of your thighs (which depending on your preferences, could be good or bad)
In essence, I would recommend it to someone who has a bit of experience with vintage lingerie, being an intermediate level one.

My waist is between 28 and 29 inches so I sized down to 12 and I did not expect the waspie to do such a great job at nipping the waist. I am quite squishable so it might be biased, but it creates the perfect dramatic but balanced hourglass by reducing the waist, in my case, from about 1,5 to 2 inches and flattens slightly the tummy.
It is also very comfortable, as you don’t feel the top or bottom elastics, it is so far my best WKD purchase and I highly recommend it for beginners who want the hourglass shape without the corsetry.
Having a new bullet in a size that fits better is just the happiest thing ever. Since becoming a runner, everything on me shrank. This bra really makes me feel like myself again.

Great quality, although some little frays are starting to appear at the band after 3 weeks of wear. It's not super noticable. I'm just happy I get to wear a 40's style bra beneath my 40's dresses and blouses! It truly helps to shape the chest even without padding!
The suspender belt is very cute. At first I wasn't sure about the extra two clips, but when I walked downtown with my gals, a couple straps had come loose so I was glad there were extra ones holding my stockings up.
These stocking pair wonderfully with my merry widow and help keep her from wondering upwards. The stockings are delicate and soft and very nice to wear. I will be wearing them with the wedding dress I am sewing and I am delighted with the quality.
