I've bought many bespoke corsets before from a dozen different corsetieres and done a lot of tight-lacing in the past. This is my first "off the rack" corset - but the quality is really good.

I wanted something I could wear for back support while I'm working at my desk so I wanted something with a shorter busk. I checked out reviews on YouTube and settled on the demi corset from WKD. The busk is 10" - so it won't cut off blood supply to your legs if you sit too long! And over all, it's really fantastic! It's stretchy but not too stretchy - so it's supportive. But it's also very comfortable.

It creates a great shape and maybe an inch of waist reduction. The mesh is breathable and flexible but the busk area is satin and heavily boned. I'd recommend this style for someone new to corsetry - or someone who isn't new but wants something they can wear when walking or sitting - or in the summer.

Additional - delivery was super fast and everything was beautifully packaged. WKD makes you feel like you've been spoilt...which is no bad thing!

This corset is a dream. I needed a larger size and they were gracious enough to send me the correct size. It's so comfortable that you could sleep in this if you wanted. Very good support.

She Who Must Be Corseted says it's the most comfortable corset she's ever worn and is quite, quite delighted with it. (She also says that there was a Victorian precedent for the less boned style, suited to those ladies who actually did something during the day other than read, write or paint). It's capable of being worn for hours on end without problem - though (as is traditional) bending to the floor is never an easy task....

This is the dream - shapewear that lets me cinch my waist in and give the right foundation for my vintage pieces, but which is truly comfortable. The first day I wore this I had it on for 9+ hours and went for an afternoon tea. I was as comfortable coming home at 8pm as I had been when I'd been heading out at 11am that morning, despite having indulged in quite a lot of food - the elasticated panels did enough to accommodate my bloating without my waist band ever starting to feel tight or my shape being compromised. Will definitely be ordering another to have a few in my rotation!

This is a gorgeous item. I haven't worn corsets for a while and didn't wear them very often anyway so was tempted by one which would feel lighter than a traditional corset. The Demi corset does feel lighter but has a lot of springiness in the waist to cinch you in and is very well structured.
I'm 5'1" tall and the length was just right for me - it comes down a little lower at the front on me than it might on a person with average height. At a comfortable tightness, I get a good hourglass figure. I can tighten it further but as I rarely wear corsets, I'll avoid that for a bit.
It's finished well and looks like it will last forever. Especially as I will only wear it rarely.

Although I measured my waist and selected a size to fit, I must be rather more squishy than I realised and may size down.

The Demi corset looks fabulous, does a very good job of shaping and feels rather more comfortable than the standard satin/silk and coutil underbust corsets I have. Really love it.

This demi corsets is literally everything and a bag of chips!! It is everything that I like about what a corset when it comes to cinching and form but I can also breathe and eat!!! Seriously, it is a marvelous piece. Worth every penny!!!

Great quality and my first step from waist cincher to corset. When ordered during lockdown team contacted me to say the size was out of stock but one available in the London shop and they would send when they were able to open, as promised they did. Tried on felt lovely..... Christmas presents so not yet worn..... can’t wait to put on with suspenders and claret seams! We all need some festive cheer after a year of COVID 19.
