At What Katie Did we've always liked to get out on the road and up until now have combined a hectic schedule of shows. 2010 will see us step back from the shows as I write we're only planning to exhibit at The War and Peace Show and the Goodwood Revival.
That's not to say we'll be taking it easy as we'll be adding lots of non retail events over the next few weeks.
Pastie and Fascinator workshops by Ruka.
Ruka makes pasties for some of the most well known lingerie companies in the
UK (we're talking far posher than WKD here!) and also has her own lingerie
company: Sugarlesque. Ruka has
recently relaunched Sugarlesque which explains why we have had a little gap
between workshops recently.

Burlesque Workshops:
The
Ministry
of Burlesque have been running nationwide classes for both beginners
and the more experienced burlesque artistes for several years. If you're
unsure about signing up to a class then why not pick up their instructional
DVD which comes highly recommended.
Burlesque Baby run great
burlesque classes around London (including one just yards from our boutique in
Portobello). You might recognise some of the instructors as both Slinky
Sparkles and Annette Bette who regularly model for us teach some of the
workshops.
Alternatively, if striptease is more your thing then check out Jo King's
London School of
Striptease. Jo has just celebrated her 30th year in the industry and
combines a great personality with a wealth of striptease knowledge.
Dr Sketchy London:
Dr Sketchy is popular worldwide. It
combines burlesque performances with art in a relaxed atmosphere (the emphasis
is most definitely on having fun as opposed to high art!)
Dr Sketchy London is
run by Clare who also manages our press department.
Dr Sketchy Nottingham is
run by Charlotte who is the illustrator for our t shirts and bags.
