1950s purple floral print cocktail dress

Feeling Regal in Purple

Purple is the colour of royalty and we'll have you feeling like a Queen in our new purple floral Fenella dress. On second thoughts this fitted pencil dress is a little more Princess Margaret in style than Queen Elizabeth!

We've teamed the dress with matching purple seamed stockings but it would also work well with our contrast black seams as the background of the print is black.
I can't resist showing you a picture of this vintage fabric I took at The Vintage Bazaar in Frome, Somerset, last Spring.  It caught my eye as it's very similar to our vintage inspired purple floral print.

the Vintage Bazaar takes place twice a year and is an amazing source for vintage haberdashery, trims, buttons and fabrics. The next one takes place on 27th April and is well worth a visit if you are anywhere close.

Frome is also the home of Deadly is the Female, a real life shop stocking some of the best reproduction vintage brands (including What Katie Did) as well as their own label.
