What Katie Did corsets are all made by hand, by one corsetier from start to finish. This means we're able to make any of our corsets in any of the fabrics we carry, and make small amendments. As these corsets are made specifically to your requirements, they are not returnable. You will have to click a box a the end of this page to confirm that you understand that the corset is none returnable.
Please take time to read the full sizing notes on our Classic Underbust and Classic Overbust pages and check your underbust, waist and hip measurements before ordering. It is highly advisable to contact us (email@example.com) before purchasing so we can ensure that the corset you have requested will be correct for you. We do not recommend this service if you are new to corsets.
If you have any queries regarding trims please ask before ordering. Please note that if you choose a contrast colour overboning trim it will look different depending on whether your corset is single or double boned. Please look carefully at the pictures on our Archive page which show both single and double overboning. While the standard cup version of our Laurie (and Extreme Laurie) corsets are single boned, the Full Cup version is double boned to support he breasts, so contrast over boning will be wider.
Our double boned corsets are: Morticia, Sophia, Storm. Laurie full cup, Extreme Laurie full cup. Our Vamp corset uses a combination of single and double bones.
Our sheer corsets are made with a double layer of sheer fabric which results in a semi sheer finish. It is possible to make any of our corsets with a single layer of sheer with exception of corsets with hip gores (Baby, Mae, Extreme Mae, Vamp, Morticia, Laurie, Storm and Antoinette) as the gores have to have a satin binding for strength which looks lumpy if only a single layer of sheer is used.
We do not recommend sheer corsets for daily wear. Not because of the strength of the corset but external factors such as the sharp metal edge of a zip, or the edge of a plastic bone from a dress, which could easily cut through the fabric.
While it is not possible to change the shape of a corset for you, it is possible to shorten the length. For example, if you have a short torso and our Morticia is too long for you, we can take 1 or more inches from the top (underbust corsets only), bottom, or both. For this service you will need to provide your rib and hip measurements at the top and bottom of your amended corset so that we can check for fit. At this time it is not possible to add inches to your corset.
Amendments Not Available For Standard Corsets
It is only possible to order a 'design your own' corset on this page. If you order a corset from any other page on our website it will be made as standard.
There is a comments box at the end of the order form where you can confirm colour of lacing, lining and if you would like your modesty panel removed, or a floating modesty panel. All of our corsets come with 6 loops to attach suspenders/garters, if these are not required you can request their removal in the comments box. This is also the box you use if you would like the length shortened.
Our 'design your own' corsets are made by hand, to your specifications. They generally take 4 weeks to make, plus shipping time, but manufacturing time is not guaranteed. If you require your corset for a certain date please contact us in advance of ordering.
