Why wear flesh-coloured passion-killers when you can get the same effect with maximum Glamour!
Wearing a corselette, or body briefer, is the easiest way to make the most of your natural curves and ensure a perfectly smooth silhouette under tight wiggle dresses, and clingy bias-cut gowns.
The lace panels favoured by other brands can sometimes show through stretch fabrics, but the smooth satin and powermesh of our corselette means that your shapewear secret remains yours alone. Small wonder it's the best-selling piece in our Glamour range!
Our Glamour Corselette is sized by bra size.
Bra sizes roughly co-ordinate with the following dress sizes:
32" - WKD US dress size 6
34" - WKD US dress size 8
36" - WKD US dress size 10
38" - WKD US dress size 12
If your bra size does not match your body size you might like to experiment a little and delve into the mysterious world of bra cup grading.
A bra cup size 38B will be the same as a 36C, 34D, 32DD. Hence if you are normally a bra size 34D but a small dress size 10 you might want to try the 32DD corselette which will have the same cup size as a 34D, but will be smaller around the body.
This grading works across all bra sizes so:
Cup size 32G = 34DDD, 36DD, 38D, and so on.
I purchased the corsellette in both the peach and the black, I must say I absolutely love them , the fit is perfect, I have been wearing corsellettes for a while so know how to step in and wiggle them on well now, they are extremely comfortable and gave me the hour glass figure I so desperately wanted , I am now able to wear the tight fitting wiggle dresses with confidence knowing they look good, I have just lost some weight, I usually wear a 38D but I got a 36C this time and the fit is perfect holds me in nicely hiding the baby belly perfectly with a smooth line down past my hips , Love these so much highly recommend

I just bought this in a 34B. I wear a 32C bra and size 8 jeans, size 6 dresses. When it came yesterday, I attempted to get it on and simply couldn't. I was so discouraged. I read the little insert that said to take a break and try again, all the while planning to return this. I tried it again today and while it was a struggle to get on, once on it was absolutely fabulous! I have generous thighs which bulge and this took care of that, leaving me with a nice smooth hip line! So glad I decided to try again! Wonderful garment and I can't wait to wear it under my 1930's styled bias cut dresses!

I'm a UK size 10 and generally wear a 32DD. I tried the 32DD and 34D in the correlate and the 34D was a better fit. A little tricky to get into at first but worth the effort. Will be buying another in black.

I am so happy that I now have both the peach and black Corselettes in my proper size! A while back I had tried the size 34B, and after months of trying to make it work for me I realized it was just all around too small. This time around I tried the 36B- and though it was a struggle to get on, as it is in everyone's proper size, when I finally did squeeze into it the piece looked stunning! To this day I am always impressed by both the decadence and the sturdiness of every garment WKD offers (that I've gotten so far). I do agree that it is best to go up a band size and down a cup size, if you can, in this style. As to how the piece looks on me, from a front view I absolutely adore it- the only other thing that makes my curves look that amazing is my waist training corset. Unfortunately, from a side view I am seeing back fat central- so unless I can get a simple shaper I can wear under the corselette, it's resigned to my skater skirts with loose tops for the time being. Curvier ladies should be aware that the back fat may be an issue depending on where you carry your weight with this garment, BUT you can still rock this corselette so long as you plan your outfits accordingly! The Glamour Corselette truly is a gem in the world of lingerie, and you simply can't help but feel extra gorgeous the moment you've finished wriggling into it. The wriggle is worth it!

I just received my glamour corselette in peach and wore it under my tightest, most unforgiving wiggle dress and I have to say that I am very impressed. I wear a WKD 34B bra so I ordered the 34B corselette and it fits perfectly. I agree with the other reviewers that it takes some effort to get it on and off but that makes sense given the job this piece of foundation wear does. The corselette stays in place - it didn't ride up over by butt or twist around in any awkward formation. The bra portion was beautiful with the characteristic features I have come to expect from WKD - wide straps for support, narrowly set to avoid slippage. This piece does an excellent job smoothing out all of the lumps and bumps while accentuating curves in all the right places.

My husband bought me the Glamour Black Corselette for Christmas as seamless underwear for several '50's vintage pieces I have, introducing me to WKD. Normally I am a 34D but I agree with ladylazarus and Venus_Bound: I discovered that a cup size down and back size up works better for me so I went for 36C. First time it took a bit of effort to get into it...second time (with the right technique)- no problem. The corselette is fabulous! Very sturdy, beautifully made and with added WKD stockings makes you look and feel like a glamorous women! My tight 50's & contemporary dresses fit beautifully (even 6 months after having a second child) and the corselette accentuates my curves in all the right places and I feel very sexy when wearing it too. Big fan!

This was my first purchase from What Katie Did. I chose to go down a cup size and up a back size for this piece as I am bigger in the bottom half than the top, but the corsolette was still incredibly difficult to get on. In fact I’ve lost five kilos since buying it, and it’s still tough, so be prepared to wriggle! I don’t think my body is the ideal shape for this piece. I have quite a long torso, and it doesn’t reach to under my bum – rather cuts it in half, especially if I pull it up high enough to properly fit around my breasts - though the suspenders are still a good length to attach to stockings. The silky part doesn’t feel as satiny as I’d thought it would, a bit rough and polyester-y, but looks nice. Still gives a good shape under clothes, though knowing what I do now, I’d go for a girdle instead!

This corselette is so beautiful! Its comfortable AND it really is powerful! I think this corselette offers more power then the Rago i own. Its a lot harder to get into (it took me a few tries and encouragement from your lovely Hannah), but once in place it really sits on my body as a second skin. And with the 6 straps my stockings keep straight perfectly. If you are looking for a all in one piece that sits tight, but comfortable, this is the item to go for!

This corselette is absolutely gorgeous! It's perfect for under sheer or semi-sheer tops. The elastic straps are super comfortable and the garters hold up stockings beautifully. I'm a 34B with a 25" waist and a 37" hip and I don't find it difficult to get in an out of, but I also don't find that it cinches me in either. I just think it is super gorgeous and makes me feel like a retro Hollywood beauty.

This is an absolutely beautiful piece of lingerie. My husband and I had hysterics trying to get me into it (we hadn't read the advice leaflet so didn't know about crossing your legs first to narrow the hips), but once in it I was extremely happy with the way it held everything in. I purchased the corselette to go under a 1930's bias cut dress in ivory, which has a very low back. I was very pleased that the corselette was very low backed and didn't show at the back of the dress, and the colour was perfect under ivory. However, I was unable to wear it under the dress as the slight ruffle along the bust line was too prominent and showed through the dress, making the dress look badly made. What a shame! Also, as the suspenders were not adjustable, they bagged a little too much and could be seen through the dress (a little too noticeably). I am 5'8" so can only imagine how much this would be a problem for slightly shorter people. I did notice that this was a little less of an issue with a shorter stocking. Having said this, I loved the item so much (and so did my husband) that I kept the corselette anyway! I just have to find a dress to wear it with now.

I love this corsolette, and the peach is so pretty and perfect under whites and other light colors. I"m petite with a short torso, and this is definitely the best pick for that figure type if you're trying to decide whether to go with this or a merry widow...I tried them both on in the Hollywood Shop. Everything WKD is of such high quality, and this is another great staple!
Peacock Ali, 19 Feb 2014
My OH bought this for me for Christmas last year and I absolutely love it, I have this on black and the Merry Widow in peach. This smooths more than the widow, which cinches and as I'm quite petite it falls a few inches down my thigh which is great. I don't find it too tricky to get in and out of, and like all WKD products it is incredibly well made and both sexy and practical. I'll be wearing this for many years to come, oh and it keeps stockings perfectly in place all day :) Yes it's not cheap but I find that I get so much wear out of this and the widow, they have paid for themselves many times over, also really give you that vintage look/silhouette, and make cheaper and or repro clothes look a lot more vintage and pulled together. I always get complements on my figure when wearing. Which is a bonus!

Yes, this takes time shimmying into and out of, but I cannot adequately describe just how sexy this corselette is. It flatters curves, disguises trouble zones. It is so comfortable and the bra part fits amazingly, lifting, separating, and supporting. It's a knock out and worth every penny.
szmiesel, 10 Jan 2014
I have had this corselette for almost a year and I wear it under all of my dresses. It smooths out all those "trouble spots" perfectly and gives me a great, smooth yet curvy defined hourglass shape. And as often as I wear it, the quality of the garment cannot be beat! It still looks and supports as well now as when I first purchased it almost a year ago! I wear a cup size E and get great support from this, which is a challenge for many undergarments. I highly recommend it!

I bought a Glamour Corselette in peach to wear under my wedding dress and it is so perfect! It's been so hard to find underwear that is both beautiful and works as shapewear and this does both as well as being comfortable. Another thing to note is the low cut back which means it is super versatile and can be worn with a large range of dress styles. A wonderful piece of underwear!
Louteg163, 02 Jul 2013
This is seriously the best piece of underwear I have ever bought. Its a little tricky getting in and getting out of but the control is amazing great shape with no lumps or bumps. Please make it in red ! Lisa

It takes a little time to get used to shimmying one on but my oh my what a difference! Complete control around my tummy and it creates a fabulous silhouette with zero discomfort. I love it!
MissBVintage, 23 May 2013
I have one of these in both peach and black and they are now absolute staples of my wardrobe. I wouldn't feel properly dressed on a night out in a dress if I wasn't wearing one. Don't be afraid of grading your size to get the best fit - I have one in a 34B and one in a 32C and the latter fits slightly better even though my usual size is 34B. WKD service is also worth a mention - after owning it for several months one of the little suspender clips slipped off and got lost while I was washing the corselette and WKD sent me a new one, free of charge. Fantastic!
LemurLady, 23 May 2013
I have three corselettes from WKD and they are all fabulous! I have the Glamour in peach and it is my absolute favourite due to its very vintage look, beautiful satin panels and super strong lump and bump smoothing powers. I'm always recommending corselettes to my friends instead of spanx or the like, as WKD underwear is so beautiful and glamorous, you almost don't want to put a dress on over it! I completely agree that retro and vintage underwear is the way forward when you need something to control your curves, and this beauty does the job like no other! I would recommend you go up a back size and down a cup size from your standard high street bras to get the perfect fit.
