* End of line, 50% off
* Dramatic overbust corset with a deep plunge neckline and defined waist
* Perfect as stunning evening wear, teamed with a long skirt and shrug
* Choose standard version for a moderate curve, or our Extreme version which takes an extra 2" off your waist
* Standard: suitable if you're new to corsets, deduct 3-4" from your waist to determine your corset size
* Extreme: suitable if you already have a 10" or more difference between your waist and hip
* Combination of 10 flat and spiral steel bones (fuller bust version is double boned for support)
Dramatic overbust steel boned corset combining a deep plunge neckline and hourglass curves.
Laurie is an overbust style with real va-va-voom and we offer it in both standard and extreme cuts. The extreme version is the same cut as the standard version but with an additional 2" shaved off the waistline for a more defined shape. Perfect if you're already curvy or regularly wear corsets.
Our standard Laurie is a good choice for most shapes and sizes, but those with a vintage figure (10 inches difference between hips and waist) will find it especially effective. Enough to make Jessica Rabbit jealous, in fact! If you have a good 10" difference between your waist and hips and are used to wearing corsets then why not try the extreme version for even more curves.
The sizes below are reduced waist sizes (ie, the corset size when it is closed). You will need to deduct 3-4 inches from your waist to determine your corset size. Please see our Sizing Notes for more information. We aim to keep Laurie in stock in black satin in standard cup sizes at all times. Other colours and fuller bust sizes are made to order, please allow 4 weeks plus shipping time.
If you are looking to waist train, we recommend training in an underbust corset.
These corsets are designed to work hard and reduce your waist by up to 3-4 inches (standard), 4-5" (extreme). Please deduct 3 to 4 inches (4-5" for extreme) from your normal waist measurement to work out your corset size: a natural waist of 28 inches will give a corset size of 24 inches, whilst a natural waist size of 29 inches will give a corset size of 26 inches.
Designed to suit most body shapes.
* length along busk 12"
* length from top of cup to bottom of corset 15.5"
* from under arm to waist 6.5"
* from waist to bottom 6.5"
Our corsets come in two bust sizes: Standard and Fuller.
32B-DD Standard, 32E-G Fuller Bust
34B-DD Standard, 34E-G Fuller Bust
36A-D Standard, 36DD-FF Fuller Bust
38A-D Standard, 38DD-FF Fuller Bust
If you wear a 32/34 band and are an A Cup you may need padding as the bust section of this corset is shaped.
I wanted to love this corset, I really did, but alas the size that fit my torso had too much room for the bust I do NOT have (38B) and even with adding a substantial amount of padding, I could not make it work. I own an underbust MAE corset which I love paired with a bra. I had hoped to be rid of the bra in lieu of the overbust style but alas it was not to be. Otherwise the quality and fit ( other than my bust) was perfect. Maybe a little weight loss to fit into a smaller size would solve the problem but I have a very wide rib cage which precludes going with a smaller size. Love your products regardless and sadly returning my Laurie was without any complication. Thank you.
Still a fan,

Initially bought the standard version of this corset in the London boutique (I'm usually a size 32'' but needed the 30'' in this model) but decided to swap it for the Extreme version, both in black and in cream satin. I was advised by the WKD girls to order the Extreme version in 28'' and although I was doubtful (bad me!) I did so. The corsets weren't easy to put on the first time but once they're on the fit is absolutely perfect and suits my very curvy waist-to-hip ratio and my cup size (36D). Could not ask for a better fit. Now I just need to get this in yet more colours...

Absolutely love it!! It fits perfectly, looks beautiful, and is soooo comfortable. I didn't want to take it off!

I love this corset! It is the first one I have bought and I wasn't sure which one would suit me but after wonderful customer service from the WKD team I went with their suggestion and wasn't disappointed. Beautiful quality, surprisingly comfortable and gives an impressive silhouette even with my "modern" figure. I have to pad the top out a little because I am very flat chested, but a strapless bra does the job nicely. Highly recommended :)

This corset feels sturdy and durable yet not uncomfortable-it's beautiful to wear and the silhouette is undeniably dramatic! The gored hips are an absolute godsend allowing you to give the appearance of a tiny waist without too much added pressure. The fit and the shape of the corset are so gorgeous, it managed to exceed my already high expectations, I would definitely recommend it.

The corset feels sturdy and durable yet not uncomfortable-it's beautiful to wear and feels amazing! I purchased this as my second corset after fully closing my Mae corset. The gored hips are a total godsend especially as someone with quite wide hips. They make it so much easier to lace down to a smaller and more dramatic looking size without adding a much pressure to my hips

I bought a 24" corset to wear with my vintage 50's wedding dress, and I love it so far! This is my second ever corset. The first I bought from Corset Story for the same reason, and it was disappointing. The shape was boring, it made my already small bust look flatter, it left nasty red marks on my skin, and it pinched my ribs and hips. I'm pretty small already, so I thought maybe a corset just wouldn't work for me. (I'm 34 28 36) But I just tried my new Laurie corset, and it is perfect! It barely feels like I'm wearing anything in comparison, it is that comfortable! My ribs don't feel pinched at all, and my hips have plenty of space. Definitely worth it!

The corset itself is lovely and smooth, but I feel like the back could use a little stiffening up. The pins in the busk are nice and sturdy but a little long and would probably poke out through tight clothing. Overall this feels like a very good corset and the gores at the hips makes it very comfortable for girls with hips like mine.

This just arrived this morning and it is amazing! This is the first corset I've ever owned and it is really beautiful. Very well made and sturdy, and nice and heavy. The fit is just fantastic and it makes me feel amazing. I'm wearing it right now and it feels surprisingly comfortable. I can't wait to wear it in so I can start lacing it tighter! Thanks so much WKD!!

If there is a better corset than the WKD Laurie, I haven't found it! The gored hips ensure it is comfortable to wear whilst still giving you a teeny tiny waist. I'm quite bottom-heavy and usually have a problem with overbust corsets being too large on top, but this style is cut beautifully and so the fit is perfect.

Gored hips - best invention ever! I love my Sophia corsets, but the gored hips in the Laurie and other styles were a revelation for me. I wouldn't even consider myself to have a particularly 'vintage' figure but I find the gored hips really comfortable, even more so that the Sophia and other styles, and make my waist look teeny tiny. If you don't yet have a corset with gored hips, it's definitely worth a try.
