Irresistible 1940s to 1950s shirt dress to see you through all the seasons.

The print for this dress is inspired by a true vintage 1940s floral print in red with light peach accents, on a black background. With it's full skirt, the dress itself is definitely post war in style giving a late 1940s or 1950s look.

Our 1950s shirtwaist dress buttons all the way through so you can unbutton at the top to show a glimpse of bra, or unbutton at the bottom for a flash of stocking welt. Team with our contrast black, plain black or contrast red seamed stockings for a coordinated look.

This 1950s shirt dress is made from 100% cotton and is a full button-through with a popper at the waist, just like the vintage dress that inspired it. Designed with a self tie belt, short sleeves and tiny shoulder pads. Skirt length approx 28”, 71cm (size UK 12, US 8).
