Our Full Contrast Fully Fashioned Stockings are the cream of the crop when it comes to luxury legwear! We've just had a new delivery of these from our English factory, so we thought this would be the perfect time to tell you a little more about our seams.
Made in small batches just a couple of times a year, these beauties feature a black seam and welt on a copper coloured leg.
Stockings are actually knitted from grey-beige coloured yarn and dyed after they've been made. For contrast seams, black thread is used that rejects colour during the dyeing process, giving the contrast appearance.
We'll let you into a secret: although expensive for the initial purchase, if you look after a pair of Fully Fashioned Stockings they last a surprisingly long time! Nude or copper legs are the best for thrifty shoppers, as they show snags less. The Copper skintone of our Full Contrast stockings is also a good match for most skintones from fair to mid-brown.
We're often asked if they had Full Contrast Fully Fashioned Stockings back in the day and the answer is yes! Katie picked up this true vintage pair at the Dapper Day Expo in Orange, California. Don't they look almost identical to our modern versions?
Ultra-glamorous, our Full Contrast Fully Fashioned Stockings have been a firm feature in our styling sequences! As you can see, they work equally well on Frenchie L'amour's pale skin here, and Lady Eccentrik below.
