-   We adore this beautiful 50s purple dress. Not only does it hark back to the halcyon days of Hollywood, it has exactly the right retro feel that is so difficult to get right with reproduction vintage designs.
    
    ## Exclusive 1950s Dress & Print Design
    
    The print is designed by us so is exclusive to What Katie Did. The purple colour has been chosen to match the tone of our purple seamed stockings although it would also look fabulous when worn with our plain black or contrast black seamed nylons. Wear with our black cotton Jayne cardigan for a year-round outfit.
    
-   Our Thomasina 50s dress is designed to fit your waist snugly to show off your curves. The waist is a little smaller than some of our other clothing styles, matching the waistline of our Rita and Minnie dresses. Please check your waist measurement on our sizing page before ordering.
    
    This dress has a metal YKK zip opening at the back and measures 29” (74cm) waist to hemline measurement (size UK 12 / US 8).
