Our longer line steel boned Morticia Corset gives a dramatic 1950s wasp-waisted silhouette.
Morticia is an ultra-curvy underbust corset. It features our trademark goring at the hips which ensure that the waist can be pulled in as tightly as desired, without putting undue pressure on the hips. The longer line ensures that tummies are nicely flattened. It is, of course, named after the beautifully macabre and wasp-waisted Morticia Addams, and is as utterly bewitching as its namesake.
Morticia was launched in 2008, originally intended as a fashion corset, one to be worn for special occasions. However, it's come our attention that several of you use it daily as a waist training corset. Having had a few amendments over the years, we're now happy to class it as a 'day training' corset, suitable for daily wear for up to 8-10 hours. Please ensure you click on the Sizing tab to decide if Mortica is right for you.
Its extreme cut makes Morticia only suitable for those with vintage figures: a 10 inch or greater difference between waist and hip measurements.
The sizes below are reduced waist sizes (ie, the corset size when it is closed). You will need to deduct 4-5 inches from your waist to determine your corset size. Please see our Sizing Notes for more information.
We try to keep Morticia in stock in black satin. A wide range of other colours, from jewel tones to bridal cream and peach are available to order. Special orders take around 3-4 weeks.
These corsets are designed to work hard and reduce your waist by up to 5 inches. Please deduct 4 to 5 inches from your normal waist measurement to work out your corset size: a natural waist of 29 inches will give a corset size of 24 inches, whilst a natural waist size of 30 inches will give a corset size of 26 inches.
Several experienced corset wearers have purchased a size smaller than they normally do. Most suited to vintage figures with a waist 10 inches (or more) smaller than the hip.

Morticia is my first real corset - before this purchase (also my first from WKD) I had only ever known the cheap, plastic boned corsets that at best smooth the figure and at worst highlight the parts it's supposed to hide!
I bought Morticia on sale, knowing that it would be a little too long for me, as I had had advice from Katie's wonderful team. Despite that - it is amazingly comfortable! I put Morticia on immediately she arrived, and WOW. I had no idea what I was getting into - I was surprised by the weight, and how easy the busk worked. And best of all, I was amazed at how tiny my waist looks! I've worn her a few times now to ease the fabric in, and I probably could have gone down a size, but all the same, I am 100% happy with my bargain buy.
This is going to be the beginning of a long relationship with proper corsetry, and also with WKD. I want to try everything now! Thank you ladies, so much.

I purchased an amazing corset called the famous Morticia Corset for Extreme curves corset in April 2015 for $269.08 CA included shipping and handling.
Once I got my purchase in the mail my waist training journey started with a size 30 this specific size measurement specific to my waist.
I ordered Morticia 30", ribcage-36", hip-42" April 30th 2015, my measurement for Aug 29th, 2015 for 6 months after doing waist training from 1hr up to 4 hrs a day 7 days a week for 6 months.
With dedicated corset waist training, exercise for 30mins to an hr a day depending on the what workout I was doing.
With proper food habits with this over all experience you should be able to get the inches off the waist and achieve your waist training goals.
I have a 29 inch waist while wearing the mortice corset fully closed at the back of the morticia corset
Without wearing the corset I have 34 inch waist from my size 40 waist from 1 years ago.
The original size I measured is 37 inch size waist is what I recorded in my journal when I started with in the begining of April 2015 for my waist training journey.
I had a measurement of 38 inches under bust in April down 36 inches underbust waist measurement is 41 inches for Aug 29th 2015.
If I purchase another corset in the near future I will be purchase the next size down Morticia 28", ribcage-34", hip-40".
I have to say thank you very much to Lucy's Corsetry (Bishonenrancher)

This is my second waist training corset, I started out with a Gina corset and that was a wonderful introduction to the world of waist training. However the Moriticia corset is absolutely wonderful I love the extreme shape it gives me and it is so comfortable and lovely.

I loved the look of the Morticia corset and the hour glass effects. I'm delighted I purchased this beauty, i have worn corsets previously but this was my first WKD corset and I love quality of it and it's fit. I have to thank Rachel from the London boutique for getting the size right as she suggested the 28" and boy was she right. The results are amazing and i now have that hour glass look I've ben after and the bottom of the corset fits very nice on my hips with no gaping. i can't wait to try another now.

Love my Morticia! Extrmely well made and very comfortable to wear. Extremely helpful live customer service to help with my size enquiry too! Can't want to buy another!

Love, love, love the Morticia corset! I have wide hips and have previously been unable to find a corset with a wide enough hip spring, but this model with the hip gores fits just perfectly. The wasp waisted silhouette is very flattering and very dramatic, and even at 22 inch waist extremely comfortable. I have worn my raw silk claret Morticia to a couple of events and received many admiring comments from corset enthusiasts and 'laymen' alike.
The only issue I have is the modesty panel. It is extremely wide, unboned and very firmly attached. I would love a stiffened floating panel, which would protect my back a better and would not be as fiddly as this wide floppy one.
Still my favourite corset so far, and I'm eagerly waiting for my sheer peach Morticia
kaktus, 31 Oct 2014
I bought this initially to give me a confidence boost when having photos taken, and I have never been so impressed with a corset before. The hips make it so comfortable and the longer length means that I don't get pressure at the base of my spine.
Completely recommend, I'm now saving up for another in the Morticia family!

I am in the process of seasoning my peach morticia and it is amazing! I am only 5 foot so i had them take an inch of the top and the bottom and it fits perfectly. the harlow panties match really well. I have had lots of custom corsets made that do not fit as well as this one does! its amazing. the construction is flawless and the fit is classic. the gored hips allow me to tighten far more than usual. i am wearing this corset under my wedding dress and you cannot tell it is there. i must save up for one in black!

I don't normally write reviews, but this product is so amazing I felt I had to. I received my WKD Morticia a few days ago and I absolutely love it! It reduces my waist massively to create extreme killer curves (which have attracted a HUGE amount of compliments and attention!). It looks and feels amazingly sexy, and it's so comfortable. The goring on the hips focusses the pressure around the waist and gives the feeling of being held firmly in place rather than the uncomfortable, breathless feeling which many people associate with corsets. The corset fits me perfectly: I have a 10" difference between my waist and hips and I decided to go for a size 6" smaller than my natural waist (which is what the woman, who was extremely helpful and couldn't have been more friendly, recommended on live chat). The corset is also very easy to wear with an underwired bra, but I would recommend wearing it with a long line bra or bralet, just to smooth the hourglass silhouette a little more. I've been wearing my corset every day for around 8 hours underneath my clothes and it's not overly restrictive or difficult to wear. When wearing loose fitting clothes or a fit and flare style dress/top, the corset isn't obvious. However, under more tightly fitting clothes the corset is visible, but I am yet to try some tricks that I've discovered from various YouTube videos on how to disguise a corset under figure hugging materials. The corset also looks great when worn over clothes - it's so gorgeous that sometimes I even feel guilt for wearing it beneath them!
The whole experience of purchasing from WKD has been amazing: excellent sizing advice from the extremely knowledgeable live chat help, secure and easy ordering, prompt delivery, absolutely gorgeous packaging and needless to say, an absolutely fantastic product! For any of you that are unsure about whether or not to add it to your basket, I assure you, you won't regret it! Couldn't fault anything! I am a very happy girl! Will definitely be ordering from WKD again.

This corset is the best corset I've ever worn. I've had problems before with corsets because I want to waist train and do tight lacing and none of the boning can stand up to it for more than a month. This corset is durable!! And extra space for wide hips is perfect, I've never been able to achieve the smallest waist I've wanted because the other corsets never accounted for the size of my hips. I wish I could get one of these corsets in EVERY color. They're by far the best, and way worth the money!
kylamuhlenkamp, 18 Aug 2014
I borrowed this corset at a recent photo shoot to give my waist definition in a 30s sheath dress - absolutely amazing - so amazing that I have ordered my own today for regular wear!
Thank you Katie and team

I got my Morticia today. WOW.
I've never owned a corset before. I was not expecting to be this comfortable!
The corset is gorgeous and fits beautifully, even though I bought a size smaller than suggested.
I'm saving up to get one in white!
VictoriaValentine, 13 Jan 2014
I picked up my my 28" Morticia yesterday and while I technically have vintage figure (according to measurements and advice from the Live Customer Service), after having tried it on I would say that I'm not vintage enough for this model. Unfortunately all the other under-bust corsets are shorter, and while I found this to be too tight for me, I do not believe I should have one that is shorter as I have a relatively long torso.
aliceraunsbaek, 30 Nov 2013
My Morticia corset arrived today and I was surprised at how easy it was to put on- it looks amazing. I can now get into my pre-baby vintage size clothes and feel sexy. The length works perfectly with my slightly longer than average body and I'm pleased to discover that I do just have that 'vintage' hip to waist ratio.
Marianne, 02 Aug 2013
Simply-the best there is. With Morticia, you can reduce your waist even more than 5 inches-I got 6. It's extremely curvy, but still comfortable-I feel all the pressure concentrates on the waist, not on ribs - and that's very important for me.
theprovocateur, 25 Mar 2013
I bought this corset last week and was astonished to be helped into one with an 18" waist by the lovely ladies in the boutique. They really know their products and were so helpful in finding the right one for me. I have never worn a corset before and didn't expect to be wearing something like this straight away! I am quite slim and have quite a straight-up-and-down boyish figure but I am definitely girl-shaped in this! Hurrah! Thank you WKD for giving me some curves! Next stop, overbust...
\'Ouizie, 23 Mar 2013
It has been over a month since I received my black 20" Morticia corset and I have worn it for a few hours on most days since. It has moulded to my body beautifully and fits very well! It's incredibly comfortable and so well made - truly gorgeous to look at. Morticia is my first ever corset and I was thinking of purchasing it for quite a while before I finally did. I absolutely don't regret it - I highly recommend it! I will probably buy one in white later in the year. :)
AliceKitty , 20 Mar 2013
Just an update- I have now received my 20" Mortica and it is absolutely perfect. Slightly more of a struggle to get on than my normal size but it is so worth it once you've got the hang of it. So definitely size down if you're at all used to corsets. Also, it's unbelievably comfortable. Obviously it feels tight, but it's more a feeling of being held firmly than being compressed. I hadn't realised quite how much unnecessary pressure other corsets but on your hips and ribcage but I think I'm going to have trouble going back to my old ones now. Amazing.
Elissa, 09 Feb 2013
I've coveted this for over a year and am definitely not disappointed: this corset is simply amazing. I've been wearing corsets casually for years, but this is my first from WKD as well as my first with gored hips and the difference in the shape it produces is truly astonishing! I'm returning mine for a smaller size as I was able to almost fully close the back on my normal size and the hips were ever so slightly big, so I would say to size down if you're used to corsetry- I wasn't sure I counted as "experienced" enough (I don't live in corsets, plus 20" does sound pretty intimidating!), but it seems I am. It'll take a while to get used to this corset emphasising my hips as much as my waist, but I'm pretty sure I'm going to want one in every colour soon enough...
Elissa, 30 Jan 2013
This is my first "real" corset, and I am in love! It fits like it was made for me. I have 15" difference between my waist and hips and had almost given up the hope of finding an off the rack corset. Then I discovered WKD, and am saved! The Morticia corset gives me an amazing shape even before I have begun tightlacing it. I am still breaking it in, so haven't laced it as tight as I can, but I am so looking forward to it! And I will be getting more from WKD, for sure!
LunaChick, 01 Sep 2012
This is my very first corset and won't be my last from WKD. It is extremely comfortable, especially for a beginner like myself. It looks extreme even without fully tightening the laces. It is beautiful quality. It has weight without feeling heavy and the fabric is stunning. I felt no pain whatsoever like with so many other corsets I have tried on before. I can't say enough about the quality, beauty and comfort of this corset. You will not regret this purchase. If you're a beginner like me, this is a great starting point as long as you have the "vintage" figure as outlined in the size chart. Also, be cautious, you will not be able to stop staring at your amazing figure in the mirror. Enjoy!
Cherry Darling, 28 Aug 2012
I love my Morticia! Got mine a couple years ago in cream silk, and I couldn't be happier with it. Definitely only suitable for very hourglassy waists / hips. It looks a bit extreme when worn (expect more attention than you ever thought possible, from sources you'd never have imagined) but feels very comfortable and supportive.
LuckyCat, 18 Aug 2012
It's taken my a while to get round to buying one of these and now I wonder why it took me so long! This has to be my most comfortable corset and I got a substantial waist reduction comfortably on my first wear. The gored hips make all the difference. As explained, it is for 'vintage' figures. Just to let you know I just have the 10 inch difference between waist and hips and it works well for me, but any less of a difference wouldn't really work. You could end up with the hips being a little too big so do check Kate's words of wisdom carefully!
