Gossip

I have to admit that over the last couple of weeks we have been a little quieter than normal, which has given us the chance to take it a little easier, have a major tidy up in the warehouse, and get ready for the approaching storm (our Summer Sale which is due to start at 9am today!)

Yesterday I took time out to have lunch with Jo King who runs The London School of Striptease. Jo has been in the striptease industry for 30 years and runs classes in London on both striptease and burlesque. There is no one with more experience than her, and she's the woman who taught Miss Polly Rae, as well as just about every other name I dropped into our conversation. The next thing is to put our plans into action!

Whilst I was taking it easy, everyone else was hard at work and we had 2 pieces of very exciting news. The first was the arrival of the Skin Two Rubber Ball tickets which we're selling at our boutique: I started my career at Skin Two and am thrilled to be involved in this year's Rubber Ball. We're in the Jazz Cafe where Slinky Sparkles and her Seamed Sirens will be previewing our AW08 collection. Secondly, we found out that we've been given the same little wooden shed at the Goodwood Revival as we had last year. We knew Goodwood were going to be taking the sheds down but didn't know if they were going to go, of if they were just going to be moved. It turns out they've just been moved about 20 feet in the direction of the starting line, which means we'll have a great view of all the cars. We can't wait!
