Goodwood Revival

We've just returned from a fabulous weekend at the Goodwood Revival. Every year more and more people dress up in 1940s to 1960s fashions which include lots of fully fashioned stockings. After a rather rainy Summer everyone had their fingers crossed and the sun came out for the entire weekend - there were a lot of pink faces around as I'm sure waterproofs and umbrellas were packed instead of sunscreen! Although it is expensive to go, even if you have no interest in motor cars, it is a really is a great day out, with lots of live bands, dance demonstrations, vintage attractions and shopping. Below is a picture of Slinky Sparkles who was kept busy lacing girls into corsets all weekend, and when she did get away for a breather attracted swarms of photographers.
