Wear a hat to work day
Tomorrow sees the launch of the V&A's Hats, an Anthropology exhibition which has been put together by Stephen Jones.

As Jones says: 'A hat makes clothing identifiable, dramatic - and most importantly Fashion... It's the cherry on the cake, the dot on the 'i', the fashion focus...'
Distinct from hat-making, with its large-scale production of standard hat types, millinery focuses on the creation and decoration of elegant, experimental and often whimsical hats. Jones permits us to examine the world of millinery from the inside out, following the life-cycle of a hat from its point of inception in the milliner’s mind to its final incarnation atop the wearer’s head.
Those of you who visited the V&A's 'The Golden Age of Couture' will know that you're in for a treat.
So, let's make tomorrow 'wear a hat to work' day. For those of you who are not on a couture budget then why not check out Re-Creations by James: hand made 1940s inspired hats, each of which is unique.
