Our Blackout range was inspired by WWII, when, despite the rationing and the hardships, the girls always managed to look their best. These easy-to-wear French knickers will certainly give the air raid warden something to think about in those long dark nights!

They're based on a 1940s pattern, with a few little adjustments for modern comfort. They feature an authentic flat front, but the back of the waistband is lightly elasticated for a good fit and we've added a snap in place of buttons.

Ideal as loungewear or over a suspender belt or girdle, just as they did it back then; these are also an authentic way to protect your modesty while jitterbugging. Now all you need is a GI to bring you some fully-fashioned nylon stockings. (link to stockings?)

What Katie Did uses traditional sizing which is smaller than modern size charts. Our sizes are cut to fit:

Size 10 - 25" waist, 35" hip
Size 12 - 27" waist, 37" hip
Size 14 - 29" waist, 39" hip
Size 16 - 31" waist, 41" hip
Size 18 - 33" waist, 43" hip
