* Our 'easiest to fit' retro style bra yet!
* Lightly padded bottom half of cup with vintage stitch detailing
* Matt black Italian lycra blend fabric with sheer mesh panel at top of cup
* Wings lined with a light powermesh and side boning for support
* Made in one of the few remaining lingerie factories in England
We're thrilled to introduce our new Liz bra. Not only is she an 'easy fit' retro bra, but she's our first bra that is Made in England!
I really didn't know what an impact this bra would have, but everyone who's tried it has tried to wrestle it from me: surely a good sign?
Made from Italian matt lycra fabric with a saucy see through section at the top of the cup. The wings are lined with a light powermesh so they're not too stretchy, and side bones have been added for support.
Really comfortable bra. In standerd sizing bra's, I'm usually a 30E. I oreded up a back size and down a cup size (32D) and found it a tight fitting in both the back and cup. The next order I ordered a size 34D, which is two back sizes bigger than my normal size but the same cup, and it fitted perfectly! I find it so comfortable as there isn't any underwire's, but because of the elastic band it still gives good surport!

I Love it!, and I have worn it several days since I received it. It hold me very well and is very comfortable, not me hurt like other brands bras. I really recommend it!

I got the Liz Bra in the color Grape. I usually wear a 32D in non vintage but WKD recommended a 34C. It is small in the band and big in the cups.
The bra is well made and the grape color is stunning. When I just get dressed and wear it under a retro style blouse it gives an amazing subtle retro shape. Not too pointy. Just perfect. I just wish it would stay that way all day and not shift, as a result it becomes uncomfortable.

These past month I've been unable to wear wired bras, but since I am a 32E-F, not wearing a bra isn't an option. Of all the supportive soft cups bras I've tried, this one is not necessarily the most comfortable, but it is definitely the sexiest. Makes me feel glamorous once again. It is really comfortable to wear the first few hours or so, but as the day goes on, I found that the side boning digs into my skin. And the elastic band still rolls up.
Finally, used to WKD sizing I ordered a 34E instead of my 32E and I'm glad I did, I could even have ordered an F cup if it had existed.

After reading all the good reviews on this bra I decided to take the plunge and make my first ever What Katie Did purchase, and the results were .... mixed. When I first tried it on, I thought it was very comfortable, sexy and well made. Four hours later though, the side boning was jabbing into my ribs like knives, but by then I had removed the tags so it was too late to return it. I should've worn it around the house for a bit, with the tags on first--had I done that I would've returned it. Now I'm stuck with this bra, so to make it work I think I'm going to remove the boning to try and make it more comfortable, because it is a beautiful bra and I want it to work.

It has been quite some time since my last purchase from What Katie Did but apparently What Katie Did never, ever stops to please customers! I needed a classic black bra and I opted to buy this one because of its more "everyday" shape but still fabulous looking. When I received and tried it on, I was thrilled to see that this was a truly supportive bra like no other. Even though I love my Marlene bra to death, the Liz bra is more conventional for my morning wardrobe but not less glamorous. What Katie Did did it again and I would strongly suggest the Liz bra if you are looking for a first What Katie Did bra.

This is my dream bra. I initially bought it based on the style but it is so comfortable and supportive, why can't all bras be made like this? I would suggest WKD uses this fabric and pattern to create other vintage style bras I would definitely buy them. Most importantly to be able to buy a bra that is made in England so not made in a sweatshop is hugely more important to me. Please continue to make your products in the UK and this would guarantee you loyal customers who care about ethical clothing. Thank you!
Note from Katie - I would like to point out that not all factories overseas are sweatshops, and sweatshops do, in fact, exist in the UK and the US. We monitor all of the factories we work with very closely and can assure you that they are most definitely not sweatshops.

I love this bra, I even like to sleep in it as it's supportive, flattering, and yet also very comfortable! I'll be buying another one soon.
